Airtel Plans Price Hike: After Jio, now Airtel has announced to increase the price of its mobile tariff. The increased price will be applicable from 3rd July next month. After this decision of Airtel, users are going to face a lot of problems, because both the leading telecom companies of the country have increased the prices of their plans one after the other. Airtel has also increased the price of its unlimited voice plan. Apart from this, the price of daily data plan and data add-on plan has also been increased.

Airtel increased the price of these plans

After Airtel’s announcement, the Rs 179 prepaid plan in unlimited voice plan will now be available for Rs 199. The Rs 455 plan will now be available for Rs 599 and the Rs 1,799 prepaid plan will now be available to users for Rs 1,999. Let us show you the list of old and new prices of some of Airtel’s plans.

The price of data add-on plan has also been increased. The plan which started at Rs 19 will now be available to the users for Rs 22, in which 1GB data is available for one day. The plan of Rs 29 will now be available to the users for Rs 33 and the plan of Rs 65 will now be available for Rs 77.

Airtel increased the price due to this reason

Like Reliance Jio, Airtel has also announced an increase in tariff prices. According to Airtel, the reason behind taking this decision is to increase the average revenue per user (ARPU). Airtel has said that in order to maintain a financially sound business model for telecom companies in India, the mobile average revenue per user (ARPU) should be more than Rs 300, due to which this decision has been taken.
