The agreement with Apple has been confirmed by Alibaba Group Chairman Joe TSAI. He told, “He (Apple) had interacted with many companies in China and finally chose to do business with us. They want to use our AI in their phones. We are happy to work with a big company like Apple.” Under this partnership, Apple will use Alibaba’s AI model to provide AI features in the iPhone sold in China.
Why did Apple need Alibaba?
