The accident happened on 16 December
55-year-old Brent Hill was going home on December 16. While driving, his health deteriorated and he became unconscious. The next moment he lost control of the car and the car collided with a roadside garage and fell into the swimming pool. After some time, when he regained consciousness, he heard the call of emergency services. Actually, the crash detection feature of Apple Watch had detected the accident and immediately informed the emergency services about it.

Narrating his ordeal, Hill said that Apple Watch saved his life after the accident. He said, “Emergency services contacted me through the watch and gave necessary instructions. Because of this voice, I remained calm, otherwise I could have drowned.” Hill said he suffered some injuries in the accident, but things could have been worse had he not had the Apple Watch.
