According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, this new feature will not give users accurate systolic and diastolic reading but it can track the trend of blood pressure and detect high blood pressure. This feature can be very important in terms of health.

Apple Watch is already known for health features like atrial fibrillation detection, ECG reading and blood oxygen monitoring. However, blood oxygen monitoring has currently been closed due to a patent dispute in the US. If the hypertension detection feature is added, it will give another big health upgrade to Apple Watch.

Display upgrade

Although the design of Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to remain almost the same, but there may be a big change in its display. The current model uses LTPO2 display technology while LTPO3 OLED Retina display is likely in Ultra 3.

This upgrade will provide a fast refresh rate in allways-on display mode, which will make the live ticking animation and smooth of seconds hand on the watch face. In addition, this watch can come with Wide-Angle OLED display which will offer 40% more brightness.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 is likely to have S11 chipset. The S9 chip was given in the current model, but with the arrival of the S11 processor, the watch is expected to get better battery performance and more internal space.
