According to media reports, a cybercrime group called Crazy Evil of Russia is executing this scam. Hackers associated with this group are uploading posts of fake jobs on LinkedIn. When an interested person contacts them in search of a job, they ask him to download a video app named GrassCall for interview. If someone downloads this app, then hackers steal other sensitive information including their bank details with its help. It is then used to steal money from the account

According to the cyber security researcher, which gives information about this scam, the payment details of these scammers show that they have cheated the big money from the people. He has warned that such scams can also be revealed in future.

- Always download the app from trusted source. Do not download any file or app from the link sent by an unknown person.
- Do not share any kind of personal information with an unknown person including bank account and OTP.
