The company uses these chips in MACS, iPhones and iPads. Researcher says that hackers can steal users’ sensitive information through apps like iCloud calendar, Gmail and Google Maps.

These devices can be affected

The researcher has also told the list of Apple devices that can be affected due to these flaws. These include Mac laptop launched after 2022, Mac Desktop after 2023, all iPad Pro, Air and Mini models after 2021 etc. Apart from these, all the iPhones after September 2021 can also be affected due to these security flaws and there is a fear of the theft of users. This means that a large number of Apple users are threatened by these flaws.

Researcher said that he has informed Apple so that these flaws can be removed. The company has also confirmed this and said that due to these deficiencies, users do not have any immunity risk. The company has assured the researcher that it will soon remove these shortcomings.
