The report said that scammers can also implicate people in their trap through fake mobile apps and fake websites. Apart from people, companies will also have a big impact. Actually, scammers carry out scams in the name of many big companies. Because of this, the image of companies is tarnished among the people. Due to this, companies may suffer a loss of Rs 6,000 crore, while people may have to suffer a loss of Rs 14,000 crore. Scammers can carry out fraud in the name of fishing scam, fake job posting and investment.

In this report, the reference of data of the government agency Indian Cybercrime Coordination Center (i4C) has also been taken. It is revealed that in the first 9 months of 2024, the country suffered a loss of Rs 11,333 crore due to cybercrime. This year, the incidence of cyber crime is increasing, due to which this amount is also expected to increase.
