WhatsApp in India is good news for users. The company has started crying out the voice message transcript feature. It was announced in November last year and now the company has made it available. It prepares the text transcript of the voice message with the help of on-device processing. This means that this feature can tell the voice message by writing. First it has been brought for Android users and soon iPhone users will be able to take advantage of it.
Transcript will also be present in Hindi
In this feature, the Hindi language has not been listed in the Transcript language option, but it is providing the text transcript of the voice note found in Hindi. Officially, it has support for English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian language. WhatsApp says that this feature allows users to continue their conversation, even if they are somewhere and are doing anything. Meta-owned company said that this transcript is fully on-device and even WhatsApp does not have access to audio and text. It can be enabled or disabled by going to voice message transcript option.
How to use?
Whatsapp has kept this message by default disabled. This means that users have to enable it. To enable it, first go to Whatsapp Settings and tap on chats. After this, tap it on the voice message transcript and enable it. After this, you have to go to the listed option and choose your language. Finally, the option of set up now and weight for Wi-Fi will come. In this way it can be setup. After the completion of the setup, hold on any voice message in the chat and go to the peacock option and tap on the transcribe. Now its text transcript will be seen in the box of voice note.
