Reliance Industries and Wall Disney Company’s combine media company JIOSTAR has launched a new streaming platform Jiohotstar. This new platform is being started by combining Disney+ Hotstar and JioCinema. In this, users will enjoy shows, movies and sports etc. The company has also announced its subscription plan. What will happen to the current users?
After the launch of Jiohotstar, many users will have a question that what will happen to their current plan? Responding to this, the company has said that the current customers of Jio Cinema and Disney Plus Hotstar will be able to set up a subscription of geographistar without any hassle. CEO Entertainment Kevin Waz of JISTAR said that the existing customers of Disney Plus Hotstar will not see any change in the new platform. The current subscriber subscription will continue at the current prices. On the other hand, subscribers of Jio Cinema will be migrated to Jio Hotstar Premium. Waz said that automatic premium access will be given to the subscriber of Jio cinema.
Will get a few hours free every month
The company has said that every month users will get a chance of free streaming for limited hours on new platforms. During this time, he will be able to see all the content except Hollywood films. Users will get to see content of Disney, NBCUNISAL Peacock, Warner Bros, Discovery HBO and Paramount etc. on this platform. Apart from this, the ICC’s big events, IPL, WPL, Premium League, G. G., Pro Kabaddi League and Indian Super League etc. will also be streamful on the platform. This means that users will be able to enjoy every type of content in one place.
What will be the price of the plan?
There will be three types of plans of Jiohotstar. There will be the cheapest mobile plan, which can be streamted only on one device and will get 720P resolution. Its three -month subscription will be available for Rs 149 and one year subscription will be available for Rs 499. The second is super plan. In this, it can be accessed on two devices simultaneously and users will get 1080p resolution. It will get Rs 299 for three months and Rs 899 for one year. The third and most expensive plan is a premium aid free plan. It will be accessed on 4 devices simultaneously and no advertisement will be seen in it. Users will be able to enjoy 4K streaming in it. For this, a three -month plan will be available for Rs 499 and a year -long plan will be available for Rs 1,499.
