Google Photos Features: Google has added a new image flip feature to its photo app, so that users can now mirror their photos without the help of any third-party app. This feature will be useful for selfies especially from the front camera, because often the text looks upside down. Apart from this, dark mode is also being rolled out gradually for the desktop version of Google Photos.

Google has given information on its support website that now the option of image mirroring is available in the Google Photos app. This feature is currently released only for Android users. Now users can flip their image directly in the app with the help of in-built editor, so that they will not need any different photo editing app.

The information of this feature was first given by Tech Expert Mishal Rahman in September, but at that time it was available only to some users. Now this update has been released for all Android users.
Dark mode for desktop
Dark mode is also being rolled out in the desktop version of Google Photos. 9to5google said that now a banner is seen on the top-right corner of the desktop app, which states-“Dark mode is here! You can now apply a dark theme to photos.”
How to activate dark mode
Users can go to Google Photos Settings and choose Light, Dark, or Use Device Default theme. However, this feature is being released slowly, and is not available to all users yet.
