Under the guise of this, criminals are making people their victims.
In a recent case, the thug has tried to make a person his victim in this way. Actually, the criminal called the person from a strange 15 digit number. After this, he told about the offers and kept guiding the person. After this, he said that you have received a request of Rs 8999 on PhonePe, click on it. On clicking, the person was asked for UPI PIN in PhonePe, after which the person asked why the UPI PIN is being asked, then the thug told that it is for verification. Let us tell you that UPI PIN is never asked for to take money. After this, on protesting, the thug started intimidating the person.
I will kill you!
The person started arguing with the fraudster for not entering the UPI PIN, after which the criminal started threatening the person. As soon as the fraudster realized that his plan was exposed, he started challenging the person. The good thing in this was that the person did not listen to the criminal and did not enter the PIN and made a video of the entire incident. After making the video, the fraudster said that if this video goes viral, I will kill you.

People are being threatened by calling from unknown numbers. Not only this, criminals are cheating people by posing as government officials.
