Actually, the role of fake SIM card is important in cyber crime incidents. In view of this, instructions have been given to telecom companies.

Government gave these instructions

The Central Government’s Telecom Department has asked all telecom companies to implement digital integrated verification system. This means that now strict rules will be adopted for the identity of customers and before selling SIM cards, companies will have to verify them on different parameters. Now no customer will be able to buy a SIM card without biometric verification. That is, their biometric verification of companies will also have to be done before selling SIM cards.

Those who take more connections are also not good

Before giving SIM cards, companies will have to take photos of customers from 10 different angles. Apart from this, it will also be investigated how many connections are already being run in the name of the customer and whether he has taken connections with different names.

Government’s action intensified against fake SIM card

The government, who is trying to stop cyber fraud, has stepped up action against fake simcards. So far 2.5 crore fake SIM cards have been blocked. Recently, there was news that 27 lakh SIM cards will be blocked in Bihar too. Actually, orders have been issued in Bihar to block SIM cards of such people, who have more than 9 SIM cards. Right now these people have been given 90 days. During this time, they have to give information about which number of number active they want to keep. If they do not give information about this, then the SIM cards after 9 will be blocked in a random manner.
