Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Samsung is preparing to launch its flagship smartphone Galaxy S25 Ultra soon. This new device is expected to launch in early 2025 and will help Samsung maintain its leading position in the smartphone market.
Launch and price
According to leaks, Samsung can launch the Galaxy S25 Series on January 23, 2025 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco. This device may possibly be available in the market by February 6.
As far as price is concerned, this topic remains the center of debate. The Galaxy S24 Ultra was priced at $1,299, but the price may increase due to new technology such as the use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and rising material costs. However, Samsung has not confirmed this yet.
Design and display
Minor design changes are expected to be made to the device, but the premium titanium frame of the S24 Ultra will be retained. According to leaks, it is likely to come with a 6.9-inch display, thin bezels and a more ergonomic design.
However, Samsung will continue to use the M13 OLED display technology and will not include new technologies like the M14 panels. Color options for the device may include Titanium, Black, Green, and Blue along with exclusive colors like Jade and Pink.
Camera and performance
This time Samsung is paying more attention to its camera system, especially to compete with competitors like Apple. The ultra-wide lens may get an upgrade from 12MP to 50MP. The telephoto camera may feature “variable focal lengths”, which will further improve zoom transitions. Although there was speculation about the removal of the second telephoto lens, reports suggest that Samsung will retain the four-lens setup.
With Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, this phone will bring a big improvement in terms of performance. According to early benchmarks, it will have 40% faster CPU and 42% better GPU performance. Also, the RAM can be expanded up to 16GB, which will allow for better multitasking and AI performance.
Battery and Software
The battery capacity is likely to be 5,000mAh, but the battery backup may be longer due to the better efficiency of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Charging speed will remain at 45W.
The device will run on One UI 7 with Android 15 and will benefit from Samsung’s commitment to providing long-term software updates.
AI Features
Samsung is expected to further improve the AI features in this phone. In this, generative AI technology can be added to Bixby Assistant and other apps. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, with its upgrades, makes a strong contender in the premium smartphone market. Now it remains to be seen how well Samsung meets the expectations of the customers.
