The iPhone 16E has a 6.1-inch OLED display which also has a notch for the face ID system. It has an action button instead of a muted switch, so that users can easily launch the camera or activate the ‘Do not disturb’ mode. Also, Apple has added USB-C port to this model.
This device is equipped with Apple’s A18 chipset which gives better performance than the previous generation. It has a 6-core CPU, which Apple has described by 80% faster than A13 Bionic.
Apart from this, it has a 4-core GPU and 16-core neural engine, so that machine learning-based tasks can be completed rapidly. It also includes Apple’s AI-based facilities. It has features like Genmoji, Writing Tools and Chatgpt Integration.
Talking about the camera setup, the iPhone 16E has a single rear camera of 48MP which is capable of capturing high-resolution image. 2x telephoto zoom feature has also been made available in it.
By default it clicks 24MP photo but it can be converted into 48MP mode. The camera system has features like portrait mode, night mode and HDR.
At the same time, for selfie and video calls, it has a 12MP True Depth camera which comes with autofocus. For video recording, this device also supports 4K videos (60fps) and Dolby Vision.
According to Apple, the iPhone 16E gets a backup of video playback for 26 hours. It has facilities like wireless charging and satellite connectivity, including emergency sos and Messages via satellite.
The base variant (128GB) of iPhone 16E has been launched in the US at a price of $ 599 (about Rs 49,500). In India, the initial price of this new iPhone 16E has been kept at Rs 59,900. The 256GB model of the phone has been priced at Rs 69,900, the price of 512GB model has been fixed at Rs 89,900.
