American chipmaker Qualcomm has launched its new Artificial Intelligence (AI) chipset in India. This chipset has been introduced for laptop and personal computer. It has been given a new name Snapdragon X from Lucknow. With this, Asus has become the first company, in which Qualcomm Snapdragon X has been used. The laptops that have been launched in India include Asus Vivoook 16 and Asus Zenbook A14. Their price will start from Rs 65,990. It will be sold from Asus Exclusive Store and e-commerce platform Flipkart and Amazon.

Qualcomm’s new chipset is more affordable. This AI Powered PC has a new ARM based chipset, which will come with the Oryon CPU core. In this, second capacity will be given on 45 TOPS i.e. trillion operations with neural processing unit. Also, it will be supported by on-device processing and Microsoft co-pilot PC platform.
Cloud protection and privacy features will also be available
Qualcomm claims that Snapdragon X Poward in India will reach the experience of Microsoft Copilot+ more people with the launch of the first computer. Snapdragon X platform has 5G and Wi-Fi 7 support for connectivity. Also, there will be support of Snapdragon sound technology for emergency, high-fedelation audio for wireless license. Apart from this, it will get complete protection and strong privacy features from chip to cloud.
Next level advanced AI-powered computing will be available
On the other hand, the company claims that the new chipset will facilitate the next level advanced AI-powered computing to the people, which will make it more economical and accessible for all the users. This will work to increase transformation productivity.
