Now these companies have not submitted these plans to TRAI by arbitrarily. Because of this, TRAI is not able to review them. If TRAI finds these plans expensive, then it can ask to reduce prices, which will benefit the customers. However, at the moment, customers do not seem to get relief.
TRAI said that the review was talked about
TRAI had asked telecom companies to launch plans with voice and SMS to give relief to the people. While following the orders, these companies had launched voice and SMS plans. However, instead of bringing new plans, the companies had reduced the data benefit from the old plan instead of bringing new plans. This means that customers started getting less benefit in the same amount. When people criticized this step, the companies made some changes in these plans and made them a little cheaper. Meanwhile, TRAI had talked about reviewing these plans.
Companies did not submit plans
According to media reports, telecom companies have to give their plans to TRAI for review within a week, but so far no plan has been received by the Telecom Regulator for review. Companies are constantly changing their plans and have not yet submitted their plan to TRAI. In such a situation, there is no hope of getting relief to customers soon. Customers are expecting relief because TRAI wants customers to pay less money for a plan without data. In such a situation, customers are sitting hoping that TRAI can reduce the burden of their pocket.
