After the ban in South Korea, the download of Deepsek has been banned. It is not available on Google and Apple’s app store. However, it can be accessed through web browser. South Korea’s Personal Information Protection Commission expressed concern over the data collection of Deepsek, saying that it may take time to resolve the matter. On the other hand, Deepsek has appointed an officer of its own to work with the local government.

China reacted strongly

China has reacted strongly after the ban on Deepsek in South Korea. China said that South Korea should not do politics on business issues. The Chinese Foreign Ministry defended Deepsek, saying that Chinese companies work abroad under local rules.
