UPI users got a big shock! Now fees will be paid for different services, this company started

In today’s time, UPI has become an important part of our life. On an average, a person is doing about 60 to 80 percent transactions daily through UPI. Crores of UPI transactions are being done daily in India, through which transactions of crores of rupees are being done. Although many companies across the country offer online payment through UPI, but Paytm, Google Pay and PhonePe are most commonly used. All these companies do not charge any kind of fees for most UPI transactions. But now perhaps these free services can be closed soon. Now you may have to pay fees for different services.

Let us know that these companies are already charging charges to recharge mobile through UPI. Now this process of recovery is not going to be limited to mobile recharge only. Google Pay has started it. According to an Economic Times report, Google Pay has recovered Rs 15 from the customer in the name of conveyance fees for depositing electricity bills. According to the report, the user had paid electricity bills from Google Pay with the help of credit card.

UPI is being used a lot across the country

Google Pay described this recovery as “processing fees for debit and credit card transactions” and it also included GST. UPI is being used not only for shops at shops but also for many other services. This includes petrol-diesel, mobile recharge, DTH recharge, various bill payment, railway-flight tickets, movie tickets, fastags, gas booking, money transfer, metro card recharge, insurance premium etc.
