More than 10 lakh accounts were removed immediately

The report states that the company immediately removed 16.6 lakh accounts due to serious violations of the rules, while the rest has been removed after investigation. Apart from this, there were about 16 lakh accounts, which the company had identified and removed before receiving any complaint. The company said that it had received complaints from 10,707 users in August 2024 and action has been taken immediately at 93 percent.

Due to these reasons, Meta removes the account

META deletes the accounts of users for many reasons. If a user is found to be messing, spam, fraud or spreading misleading information, then it is blocked due to violation of rules. Apart from this, if someone is found to have restricted activity in legal, then that account is also removed immediately. With this, the company takes action against the accounts after receiving a complaint from the users. Due to the complaints of the users, it is easy to identify the accounts that harm the company.
