New feature will be based on Movie Gen AI
Instagram head Adam Mosseri has shown a glimpse of this new feature. In this feature, users will be able to change their clothes and background in the video by giving text prompt. Not only this, they will also be able to wear their favorite jewellery. That means they have to give commands just by writing text. After this, this feature will automatically edit their video and change their clothes and background.
This would not be the first such tool. Adobe’s Firefly and OpenAI’s Sora are already editing videos based on text commands, but Meta has said its model is better than them. Meta says that its feature handles identity and motion better than other models.
Users are raising questions on the feature
Some users are excited about this feature of Instagram while some are also raising questions on it. In the comments of Mosseri’s video, a user said that this feature will enable people to be fake and create a fake reality. This is very bad. Another user wrote that how fun it would be to see someone on the AI backdrop of Paris. It is an illusion like bluescreen.
