Xiaomi’s premium phone coming on 2 March! Will get 200MP camera, know details

Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is going to launch its much -awaited premium phone Xiaomi 15 series soon. According to the information, this series will include two models like Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. This phone will be launched in India on March 2 but before that it will be officially introduced in China on 27 February. After this it is expected to be launched globally during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025.

Xiaomi has released a render of this phone on its official Chinese website, which gives a glimpse of its design and features. In this event, Xiaomi is also preparing to launch its other products like SU7 Ultra Ev Car, Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro and Redmi Book Pro 2025. The design of Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be quite attractive and the company has teased it on Weibo and its official website.

According to the report, this smartphone will come with dual-tone finish which will be a mixture of glass and vegan leather which is inspired by the classic design of Leica cameras. Circular camera module has been given on the back panel of the phone, which has four camera sensors and LED flash. Xiaomi has retained the identity of its previous ULTRA series design, and this time italic Ultra branding is also given on the top left corner of the back panel.

Will get Snapdragon 8 Elite Processor

Talking about hardware, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor will be given in Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which was recently seen on the Geekbench AI database. The phone will have 16GB RAM and it will work on Android 15 operating system.

Talking about the camera setup, it is believed that it will be given a 50MP’s 1-inch Sony Lyt-900 primary sensor with 50mp Samsung Isocell JN5 Ultra-Wide camera and 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto lens. It will also see 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor which will support 4.3X optical zoom. It is believed that this phone will come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, which means that this device is going to be dust and water resistance.

How much will the price be

According to experts, Xiaomi 15 can offer Ultra with 16GB RAM+512GB storage option in the international market. At the same time, it is likely to be launched in three colors like Black, White and Silver. Talking about the price, the initial price of Xiaomi 15 Ultra can be CNY 6,499 i.e. about 77,700 rupees or $ 896. Let us know that the company launched Xiaomi 14 ULTRA (16GB+512GB) in India at a price of Rs 99,999. Pre-order booking of Xiaomi 15 Ultra has already started on Mi Mall in China and it can be purchased in India from March 2.
