Apart from this, with the help of this portal, people book appointments at different passport centers across the country. After applying, the applicant is given an appointment date. After the date is issued, the applicant has to go to the center on that scheduled date and get his documents verified. After document verification, the information given by the applicant is also confirmed by the police. After the verification process is completed, the passport is sent to the applicant’s address.
