This spyware made access to the data of many people, including journalists and members of social organizations. META (WhatsApp owner company) sent a legal notice to Paragon against this hack and assured the users of security.
How does Zero-Click Attack work?
Hackers send a malicious file, which the device’s system or apps automatically process.
The user does not need to open it, but despite this the device gets infected.
After this, hackers get access to your message, call, photo, microphone and camera.
This attack is completely remote (remote) and interaction-less (without any interaction).
How to avoid Zero-Click Hack?
Zero-click Hacks is difficult to stop, but with these safety measures you can reduce the risk:
Always keep apps updated – New updates fix security flaws.
Turn on automatic updates – So that security patches are installed immediately.
Keep an eye on any unusual activity in the device – such as the battery finishing quickly, the strange behavior of the apps or an unknown message. If there is doubt, report to the cyber cell immediately.
